Wax Information
I make my candles in two main wax types
Soy Wax
Gives the candles a smooth and glossy look.
Palm Wax
Candles are made from palm wax that was derived from palm oil.Patterns
- Cloudy
- Crystal
- Feather
N.B.Changes may occur in crystal size and patterns due to ambient temperatures during manufacture.
Advantages
- More environmentally friendly, free of petrochemical content
- Hard, smooth and dry (paraffin candle will be oily,especially in tropical area)
- Longer burning time and more steady burning
- Smokeless (if wick is kept trimmed to 6mm)
- Able to absorb high concentration of fragrance and will keep the aroma longer
